T-Ball

Dodgers T-Ball is back for season 2025/26 kicking-off on Friday October 31 and this season we will be offering both Under 8 and Under 10 competitions for boys and girls aged between 4 – 9.

Overview

Under 8s

Our Under 8’s program is designed to help your player learn the basics of baseball while hitting from a tee.

Your player will experience every position on the field as well as batting, base running, and building teamwork and sportsmanship skills.

Games are played Friday nights at GGCD.

Under 10s

Our Under 10’s program is designed to help your player further develop their baseball skills and moves away from tee hitting, to a coach thrown ball.

Your player will still experience every position on the field as well as batting, base running, and building teamwork and sportsmanship skills.

FAQs

When and where are games played?

• Games are played 5:30-6:30 at GGCD Baseball Club, Illyarrie Reserve, Illyarrie Ave, Surrey Downs.

What does my child need?

• It will be beneficial for your child to have their own glove, hat, and drink bottle.

What about uniforms?

• A playing shirt will be provided to your child once registration has been paid.

How long is the season?

• The season consists of 11 games, 7 games before Christmas and 4 in the new year.

What is the cost of the season?

• The T-Ball season costs $180. School children can use the $100 School Sports Voucher and a $20 deposit will be returned to you after the return of the playing shirt.
