Baseball South Australia and Baseball Victoria have joined together to enter a team in the 2024 Perfect Game World Wood Bat Association Championships in Hoover, Alabama.
It’s a tournament for some of the best players aged 14 & Under in the United States.
The Mighty Termites (SA, VIC) along with the other Australian team Angry Bull Sharks (QLD, WA, NSW) are set to arrive in the United States on Wednesday 10 July, ready to play ball on Friday 12 July.
Amazingly, the players will get to play at the historic Rickwood Field – America’s oldest ballpark. Those games take place on 15 July in the USA (16th in Australia).
The Golden Grove Central Districts Baseball Club are represented by Lachlan Vine and Owen Hughes as players in this tournament, and Brandon Manzella as Head Coach. Good luck in the tournament!
