Baseball SA is thrilled to announce that some our Performance Pathways athletes will be participating in the prestigious Perfect Game World Wood Bat National Championships. This 17th annual event is set to take place from July 12th to 19th at the renowned Hoover Met Complex, as well as various other ballparks in the Hoover/Birmingham area of Alabama.

This international tournament, known for showcasing some of the best young baseball talent from around the world, promises a minimum of six games for each team, ensuring our players have ample opportunity to demonstrate their skills and hard work. Alongside the on-field competition, the event offers an exciting off-field schedule that will enhance the overall experience for the participants.

We have approximately 20 dedicated kids who have been training rigorously as part of our squad. Out of these, nine players will join forces with their counterparts from Victoria to form a combined team known as the Mighty Termites.

The nine players representing Baseball SA in the Mighty Termites are:
– Oliver Breach – Goodwood
– Matthew Dunn – Adelaide
– Isaac Giro – Kensington
– Finn Fuller – Kensington
– Owen Hughes – Golden Grove Central Districts
– Asher Jeffery – Sturt
– Ben Perkins – Southern Districts
– Parker Rawson – Southern Districts
– Lachlan Vine – Golden Grove Central Districts
+ Head Coach: Brandon Manzella – Golden Grove Central Districts
+ EO: James Rawson – BSA General Manager
+ Assistant EO: Bridgette Dunn – Adelaide

These players have shown dedication and skill throughout their training and are eager to compete on the international stage. Their participation in the Perfect Game World Wood Bat National Championships is an incredible opportunity for growth and development in their baseball careers.

We are confident that our players will represent Baseball SA and Australia with pride and determination. We wish the Mighty Termites the best of luck in their games and look forward to their success both on and off the field.
