All equipment is provided – all you need is a hat and a mitt.

We look forward to seeing you all for another fun, learning experience.

We have quite a few of our Juniors playing in the two Adelaide Marlins Charter teams.
Both teams won their State Championships and Gold Medal games and are heading to the Nationals.

Lucas Manson and Tyler Green are on the Junior League Champion team (U15s) and
Ricky Ferris, Ashton Diplock, Liam Trembath and Will Wildman are on the Little League Champion team (U13s).

They were selected through a series of trials and are made up of the best junior players from six baseball clubs in
the North and West of Adelaide. (ET, Gawler, GGCD, Kensy, ND and PA)

BTW – the Coaches for the Adelaide Marlins Little League team are our Dodger’s Coaches:
Steve Whitehead, Brandon Diplock and Jason Trembath with Scott Coxhill as their Executive Officer.

The Junior League Nationals will be held here from 30 May thru 3 June 2022 at the Glenelg Baseball Club.
The venue was recently changed from West Beach’s dirt infields to Glenelg’s grass infields due to the rainy weather forecast.

The Little League Nationals will be held at held at Milton Park in Macquarie Fields, southwest of Sydney.
The six-day event will run from 8-13 June 2022.

It was moved from Lismore, NSW – which has hosted the past six Australian Little League Championships – because
it was unable to hold the event after a major flood event in late February that caused widespread damage.
The Little League National Champions will earn the right to represent Australia Region at
the 2022 Little League BaseballR World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, from 17-28 August 2022.
Good luck, fellas!

This season’s competition is up and running with 11 teams – the most we’ve ever had involved in our family fun program.

It is played every Saturday at Illyarrie Reserve with three time slots to accommodate the extra teams.
We’ve added a morning start time (9:15am) in addition to the 11:30am and 1:45pm game times.

Both diamonds are busy with over 100 players playing baseball each Saturday with the Bar and Canteen open for business and a catch up.

BTW – The Canteen was run for the first two Rounds by the Marlins Charter teams as a fundraiser for the players going to the Nationals.
All the profits went toward their player’s fees. We wish them well.

You can see these guys playing winter baseball.

Stay well,

Bob Neiswander
