Hi Everyone,

I hope this finds you all well and ready for some summer weather!

Our Sunday Seniors will be playing all their games at East Torrens this coming Saturday: Div 1s at 3pm, Div 2s from 12:30pm and our Div 3s from 10am.
Our Div 1s will, also, play a Twilight game there on Tuesday from 6pm.

They just came from playing a Twilight game on Tuesday this week at Northern Districts defeating them with a win 8-1.
Keep up to good work, fellas!

Our HOME games this weekend start with our Div 2 WBL Ethan’s GGCD team on Friday night along with our T-Ball program.
Saturday sees five of our Seniors playing at home(Div 4 Ricks Dodgers, Div 5, Div 6 and our two Div 7 teams) and Sunday – NO games at HOME.

ARMCHAIR UMP: YOU MAKE THE CALL
Situation: Runners on first and third, the infield is paying shallow to make a play at the plate.
The batter smashes a hot grounder right between the legs of the first baseman…the ball is deflected, and the runner, unintentionally, kicks the ball.
IS THE RUNNER OUT?

BUNNINGS BBQ – HELP!
We have another BBQ fundraising opportunity at the Modbury Bunnings this coming Saturday, 12 December. We need five volunteers for each of the three shifts.
While we have the morning shift covered, we need more to help out.

We need 3 volunteers for the 11:30pm to 2pm shift and 4 volunteers for the 2pm to 4:30pm(close).

We are calling on all members to give this some thought to volunteering as most of our Seniors are playing baseball on that day. Attention: Junior parents and Div 7 players.
Please let Mia Taylor, our Fundraising and Social Director know if you can help out. Please give her a PM to book your spot or respond on our Members FB page.

It’s only a couple days away…PLEASE CONSIDER.

PS: Don’t forget to buy your People’s Choice Community Lottery tickets. GREAT prizes and all monies come back to the club.
