Hi Everyone,
I trust this finds you all well during our ‘circuit breaker’ 6 day shut down that took place from midnight on Wednesday, 18 November 2020.
Covid has struck us again, but hopefully, with this short shut down, we can isolate it and get on with our lives.
In conjunction with the State Covid Mandate issued on the afternoon of Monday on Community Sports 16 November, Baseball SA had postponed all trainings and games until Tuesday, 1 December 2020.
Since this was imposed and a couple days later, the ‘6 day shut down’ came into effect on Midnight 18 November.
We are all waiting to hear what happens after this shut down which ends on 24 November.
Hopefully, we can recommence our Baseball season in December. We will update everyone as the situation changes.

FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS POSTPONED ☹
In the meantime, there is no Sandlot Baseball on Saturday mornings until further notice. Hopefully, we are back in December. Loads of fun.
Our Annual Beer Pong Tournament (scheduled for Friday, 20 November), has also been postponed. We will do our best to reschedule as time allows for this fun night.
No T-Ball, No Baseball trainings or games – No Thursday night meals, No 50 Club draws, No meat raffles, No rosters – NO nothing until further notice. ☹
We can’t even pick up the newly arrived GGCD Merchandise – Grey Hoodies with Pink Dodgers, new Hats and training tops!
If all goes well and by the time we are back, we may have the shipment arrive with the uniform tops! Stay tuned.
BUT OUR ‘BUNNINGS BBQs’ ARE STILL ON (for now 😊) 29 NOVEMBER & 12 DECEMBER. More on this later.
