Dear members and supporters,
As we continue into our pre-season and preparations for the upcoming season, our Minor League (Under 11s) teams start training this weekend to join in the fun at Illyarrie.
Registrations are open and we encourage you to register as soon as your circumstances permit, as we are required to nominate teams by mid-September and need to have this planning in place for which players are definitely playing this season.
Any questions, reach out to a club volunteer or board member who will be able to point you to the right person to assist.
More information will come out soon around our season launch and other events and we look forward to seeing you around the club.
PRE-SEASON
Preseason schedule below now from Sundays (with exception of Under 11s on Saturday), any changes will be communicated further and updated as we move to weeknights closer to the season start.

BOTTOM DIAMOND
State League Div 1-3 from 10am to 12pm
Intermediate/Junior League (U14/15) from 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Senior League (U17) from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
TOP DIAMOND
Little League (U13) from 10:30am to 12pm
State League Div 4-7 from 12pm to 2pm
Women’s League from 2pm to 4pm
***Minor League (Under 11s) to start on Saturday, 7 September from 3pm to 4pm on the Top Diamond.

REGISTRATIONS AND UNIFORM INFORMATION
Registrations are currently open for the 2024/25 season, please see the attached document for more information or visit our website.

WORKING BEE
A reminder that the club working bee is this Saturday starting at 10am. There is not the tons of dirt to move like past seasons. There are however a number of jobs in and around batting tunnels and work required on both diamonds, house keeping of shed, dugout and more.
The rolls of grass to lay have been delayed, so we may also require more help the following weekend.
T-BALL
It’s nearly that time of year, our club’s renowned Dodgers T-Ball is back on Friday nights in November, with two Come and Try sessions on Monday (14 October) and Friday (18 October).
T-Ball is a great introduction to bat and ball sports, and Friday night at Illyarrie is a fantastic family atmosphere for all.

UMPIRE CO-ORDINATOR
We are seeking expressions of interest for an Umpire Co-ordinator for the upcoming season.
The Umpire Co-ordinator will be responsible for the rostering of club umpires, and the ongoing training and development of umpires around our club. This is a crucial role as without umpires, games are unable to be played.
If you are wanting more information around this role and any other requirements, please reach out to the club so we can discuss further.
SCORERS CLINIC
Scorers clinics will be held on Tuesday nights at the club from 10th September at the clubrooms from 7pm.
Please come along if you are interested or intending to score this season and you would like to learn how!
If you have scored for a season or two and would like to come along for a refresher you are also very welcome.
Bring a pencil, eraser and your email address, so that I can send useful information for you to read at home.
