Dear members,
This week brings the last of our minor round games, in what will be the last games of the season for some of our teams, and some teams are still fighting to finish the season on a high to get an advantageous spot on the ladder for finals placement.
We have an action packed weekend at the club for our final round, we have our Women’s Division 3 (GGCD) team playing at home Friday night, 4 State League home games on Saturday and 7 Junior games on Sunday.
Remember to thank your coaches and volunteers around the club as you see them this week for all their efforts this season, especially if you won’t be around in weeks to come. Every one of them puts in considerable effort from their personal time to ensure that their team and the club as a whole is well represented and competitive in the Baseball community.

If you can help in any way on the day, please reach out to Andy Weeks or Bob Neiswander.
LADIES DAY RECAP
Our Director of Events, Liv Trembath, shares the success of our Ladies Day event last Saturday at the club.
Our Ladies Day event this year supported Red Cross Lifeblood’s February Campaign. There was a good turn out, with everyone dressed in red and pink in support.
Catered by our major sponsors, the Modbury Hotel and the Pickled Duck, the well-positioned marqueed ensured that the crowd had a prime view of the Division 1 game against Sturt on our main diamond.
Congratulations to Ashton Diplock on winning the much sought after exclusive Somersby Stand Up Paddleboard in the raffle.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered and assisted on the day in some way.
