Dear members and supporters,
We hope you are all doing well after the holiday period and a couple rain-outs, and now that we are coming back into the second half of the season we are nearly seeing all our teams back in action.
This week sees our full Women’s program back on the field, in addition to our State League teams on Saturday and Division 1 ramping up their twilights for the second half of the season.
On Sunday, our Dodgers Juniors have been given the opportunity to be at West Beach with the Adelaide Giants as they take on the Sydney Blue Sox, full program is available on our Facebook group.

AUSTRALIAN YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS
GGCD would like to wish Jett Chenoweth, Lucas Manson, and Tyler Green the best as they head off today to Sydney to represent South Australia in the Under 16 and Under 18 Australian Youth Championships.
The tournament started on Wednesday in Blacktown, and runs until Tuesday, 16 January. The boys have been training hard, and putting in a lot of hard work, it’s your time to shine!
At time of writing, the Under 18s are sitting undefeated with the 16s mid-table with some hard fought matches. Sounds like an exciting tournament so far!

WILL LUMLEY
GGCD would like to congratulate Will Lumley on committing to Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, USA.
Will departs this week, and we wish him all the best as he pursues his baseball journey overseas. Good luck Will on behalf of the club, enjoy the experience!
DODGER JUNIORS AT THE GIANTS
This Sunday, our juniors have been invited to appear at West Beach with the Adelaide Giants again, this is a great opportunity for our juniors to get on the field and see the best in the country up close.
50 CLUB
A reminder that we are having a 50 club draw this year, and we need to finalise selling all the tickets to this before we can finalise the night.
Come see the club at the bar during senior training or game days, and we will be able to lock up the remaining tickets.

LIFEBLOOD ROUND
BaseballSA this season are introducing an Australian Red Cross Lifeblood round, which will be held on the weekend of 9-11 February 2024 in support of Lifeblood and encouraging eligible donors to head to their local Donation Centre to donate blood or plasma.
