One week to go before our AGM! We are looking for more of our members to come forward to support our club!

Most of our Directors are vacating their Portfolios and now, more members are needed to step up. Please consider!
We can all come and play baseball with our club, have fun at our club and go home, but it doesn’t happen without the efforts of our Directors.

GGCD JUNIOR BASEBALL ACADEMY
Our program now has over 40 players attending!
Steve Whitehead has put today an impressive schedule for all to learn and have fun.
We also have 14 Coaches assisting with the program with more to come along including
DR when he’s available, some of our Div 1 squad members and players from our Women’s teams.
If any Juniors haven’t registered as yet, please send me your player’s name to put on the list.

COACHING ACCREDITATION INFO
All our Coaches are requested to become accredited in order to coach at our Club.
Before being certified as an accredited coach, you must complete/have the following:
1.Community Coaching General Principals –
learning.ausport.gov.au/Auth/Login?ReturnUrl=%2f
2. Have a Current ‘Working With Children’ Check. (Contact our Club Secretary for info on acquiring this check)
3. Complete modules A, B and/or C of the USA Baseball Certification (free).

Coaching level requirements: Junior coaches – A, B Charter/State coaches – A, B, C Div 1 – 3 Senior and Women’s coaches – A, B, C Div 4 – 7 Senior coaches – A, B
