More information on Charter baseball
Charter baseball is a pathways program that develops players and local clubs rather than focussing on elite. It is a participation based competition designed to extend player skills at a higher level to club ball and exposes athletes to international programs and play through Little League International.

Teams in South Australia are divided into three charters (groups) at little and junior league age, and two charters at senior and intermediate league level, based on local club locations

2023 State Charter Tournament dates: Friday 21st April to Tuesday 25th April (ANZAC Day).

BaseballSA is split into the below Charter groups:

Little League and Junior League
Adelaide Marlins: East Torrens, Gawler, Golden Grove Central Districts, Kensington, Northern Districts, Port Adelaide
Adelaide Rays: Adelaide, Glenelg, Henley & Grange, West Torrens, Woodville
Adelaide Seahawks: Goodwood, Southern Districts, Sturt

Senior League and Intermediate League
Adelaide Armada: Adelaide, Glenelg, Goodwood, Southern Districts, Sturt, West Torrens, Woodville
Adelaide Titans: East Torrens, Gawler, Golden Grove Central Districts, Henley & Grange, Kensington, Northern Districts, Port Adelaide

– be currently playing in the SABL competition.
– play in 60% of the scheduled games in the age group the player is trialling for.
– try out for the Charter team that the player’s current club team is a member of.
