Dear members,
The 2022-23 is nearly among us, and you can expect a lot of information in the coming weeks around pre-season and other items now that our off-season academies are coming to an end.
We are now asking for formal expressions of interest for coaches for the upcoming season.
Our Division 1 program will once again be run by 2021/22 Coach of the Year, Darren Roberts.
All other State League, Women’s and Junior grades are open for nominations. Nominations will close on 19 August 2022. We are anticipating hosting teams in all State League and Junior grades, our Women’s grades are to be advised.
Please email your interest to secretary@ggcdbaseball.com.au outlining your intended grade you are wanting to coach, and any other supporting material necessary.
Please note, we are requesting all coaches this season to obtain the relevant coaching accreditation deemed necessary by BaseballSA, and the club will assist in this process if required.
Before being appointed as a coach, we will also be hosting a coaches meeting for the upcoming season (date TBA), where we will present the updated club Junior Strategy, and any relevant information we will need the coaches to be aware of and assist the club in delivering this season.
