Hi Everyone,
As we head into Round three of our Summer season, some breaking news from the Adelaide Giants and the Australian Baseball League.
ABL CALLS OFF 2021-22 SEASON!
The Adelaide Giants Baseball Club reports with a heavy heart that the Australian Baseball League will not be going ahead with the 2021 / 2022 Season.
The Adelaide Giants were vocal in wanting to continue with some type of ABL season to give to you, the fans.
They also wanted to get our players back on the field, especially those who have not had much of a chance over winter.
With the ABL season deciding to abandon the season, Baseball SA will explore every opportunity we have to play games in the near future in front of you. Stay tuned!
ARMCHAIR UMPIRE: YOU MAKE THE CALL
The pitcher has a problem releasing the ball and fires it into the ground.
The ball bounces once and enters the strike zone. The bewildered batter is surprised and takes the pitch. IS THIS A STRIKE???
