Dear members and supporters
We’ve had an eventful week at Illyarrie so far this week with more to come, our annual combined Junior and Senior Training Night was a big success by all involved, great to see over 80 Juniors out improving their mechanics and skills with our Division 1 and 2 Squad, big thank you to everyone who helped make the night a success.
All games this weekend are scheduled as normal, due to weather conditions the plate umpire will make a decision at the time of that game to whether the game is safe and playable. The grounds at Illyarrie have been tarped up ready for the weekend, thanks to everyone who helped put those out.
Our State League Division 1 side will be back in action Tuesday night as well for their first twilight of the year, so if you are unable to come and watch on Saturdays, this will be a good one to bring the kids to.
Big thank you to Shane Gifford from Shadetec as well, a couple of weeks ago he came and fixed our blinds at outdoor blinds at no charge, it has definitely made it easier to open and close these without issues!

T-BALL DISCO PARTY NIGHT

JUNIOR/SENIOR JOINT TRAINING NIGHT
On Wednesday night the club held a combined senior squad and junior training session. This was well attended and we have had good feedback across the board from junior and senior players alike.
The club would like to thank everyone that got involved and helped on the day or before and afterwards to make the night a success.

STATE LEAGUE DIVISION 1 VS GAWLER
Our Division 1 side got the win over Gawler Rangers for their opening day of their new field on the weekend, in what was a big day at Gawler for our club. Gawler’s field was officially named after Barry O’Brien as well. Barry is one of the founders of Gawler Rangers and a familiar face around our club as a GGCD Life Member and we congratulate him on this honour.

THURSDAY NIGHT CLUB MEALS
Reminder to all our members and supporters that on Thursday nights the club serves meals and anyone is invited to attend.
Last night the Division 7 Red side prepared Loaded Kransky Rolls and had good feedback across the club, so stick around after senior training or with your family and enjoy a night at the club.
