Dear members,
It’s another packed weekend at the Dodgers this week.
Friday night we have two Women’s sides at home, with Dodgers T-Ball starting earlier this week due to scheduling conflicts – we understand this is inconvenient for some, but we thank everyone very much in making this work for the club as whole. We have tried to minimize this as much as possible. They’ll be a very quick changeover after the T-Ball games, many hands will make this easier to ensure we transition from T-Ball to the Women’s League game on time.
After a quiet Saturday at home, we have a packed Sunday with seven home games this week. Thanks to all the volunteers that have stepped up to help this weekend.
A reminder as always, rosters for umpiring and canteen/bar are available weekly via our Facebook members group. Please ensure this is confirmed each week when posted by each team.

HOUSEKEEPING
A reminder to please dispose of cans and bottles in the club’s collection bins. When setting up for games, please set up a milk crate outside each dugout to make this easier. We lose hundreds of dollars a year from bottles being thrown in the general waste bins.
We need to ensure that all diamonds are raked level after each training and game, and that dugouts are left clear of all litter and bottles, so the next team coming in is not cleaning up the mess for everyone else.
If you are the last person to use the batting tunnels, ensure they are locked. Also the equipment shed and dugouts all need to be locked after use. There is a lot of equipment stored and machinery in these facilities that will cost the club quite a bit of money if damaged or stolen.
50 CLUB DRAW NIGHT
Our In-house operations Director, Andy Brown, has commenced the weekly draws for our 50 club fundraiser this season on Thursday nights.
On Saturday, 17 December, the club will be hosting the final draw for the 50 club.
They’ll be drink packages on the night, and special prizes for anyone involved in the draw.
Even if you are not in the draw, come back to the club in the evening after watching the Division 1 side in the afternoon for a night that is always a fun club night.

Unfortunately due to the weather forecast we decided to postpone our Sponsors and Life Members Night earlier this month.
We are currently locking in dates in January to reschedule this, and will advise everyone as soon as this is confirmed.
Invites will be sent out directly to sponsors, life members and honoured guests for the day, as soon as possible.
