Dear members,
We hope you are all doing well and enjoying the second half of the baseball season. Things are really ramping up now for all teams and volunteers around the club, and we wish all teams luck in their endeavours for the rest of the season, and maybe even into the postseason!
We will open up nominations for Club Player and Person of the Year in coming weeks, so please have a think of who you believe around the club deserves the award this season.
PHOTOS
This season the club has changed photographer to Clisbert Creations, run by Robyn Ebert. Clisbert Creations is a local business to our area, and Robyn comes highly recommended from some of our members after her business has provided their other sports photos in the past.
There is a make-up session on Monday, 20 February at 5:30pm for anyone that was unable to attend this week. Please attempt to attend if you have missed out this week and let your coach know.

AUSTRALIAN MASTERS GAMES
The Australian Masters Games are in Adelaide this year, running from Saturday, 7 October until Thursday, 12 October.
The Dodgers are looking to nominate one or multiple teams based on interest from club members this year. There is a maximum of 18 players for each team, with up to 7 additional support staff (maximum of 25 medals if successful in gaining a top 3 finish). We will also need scorers, team managers, non-playing coaches, and an umpire for each team.
Divisions available:
Men: 35, 40, 50

ADELAIDE GIANTS
The Adelaide Giants returned the Claxton Shield to South Australia after a 43 year drought, defeating the Perth Heat in a 3 game series. Many of our Dodgers and Junior players were in attendance in the crowd (some even lucky enough to get into some of the team championship photos)
A special mention goes to our very own Michael Phillips, who was part of the scoring team on the night.
